The above picture is of some of the Austin Stone Worship team dressed in our ugly sweaters for our Christmas/December Worship Collective.
I can’t believe a month has gone by since my last post…so much has happened! Let’s start with the amazing time our 5 ring circus had this holiday season.
The Austin Stone staff Christmas party was very cool. When the kids and parents love it, you know its good. There was ice skating, snow, gingerbread decorating, great food, prizes, and live music by All Hat No Cadillac.
It really is incredible what you can find to get into for free with a family around Austin. We joined in the craziness and had our first experience at the Trail of Lights in Zilker Park. Learn more about it and even watch a video of some of the displays here.
Our kids really had a blast seeing all of the light displays and walking around in this awesome park near downtown.
We were able to kick off the new year by having an Austin Stone Worship Family Day at the Ivey’s house.
It was so great to hang with everyone again after the long but needed Christmas and New Year’s break.
I absolutely love the closeness of our team and the desire to actually spend time together celebrating all that God has done, and dreaming of all He will do!
Foundations is a new online worship development course from Austin Stone Worship.
I have had the privilege of working on many aspects of this course. It is literally why I was so busy in November, December, and am still going at it this month.
I curated most of the content by helping with interviews of our worship pastors, as well as from our existing resources. I put them into modules that match Austin Stone Worship’s five foundations for effective worship leading.
We are planning on launching it in a few weeks. I can’t wait to see who all takes the course and how it helps them become better worship leaders.
